Nothing like a two week trip to Northern Italy to reignite your love for all things cheese, food and wine. Richard and Sherri had an absolute blast eating their way through Bologna, Modena, Venice, and Reggio-Emilia. Highlights include touring a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese factory, tasting aged balsamic vinegar (the real deal!), and exploring Venice. Stop in to hear more about their travels!
San Juan Island Cheese has officially re-opened! We're excited to be starting our 4th season as Friday Harbor's Cheese Counter and Lunch Bistro. Our lunch menu is as tantalizing as ever... grilled cheeses, tuna melts, pastrami panini. Or if you're looking for something different, the French Onion & Ham Tart is a must try.
Good news! We brought Italy home with us! For your enjoyment, we have added two Italian wines on tap. And keep a look out for featured Italian cheeses in our cheese case in the weeks to come.
